Having the opportunity to volunteer with my teenage son, Dalton, was awesome.  It felt great to see his willingness to help others and his professional attitude. But when others noticed it too and mentioned it, I was the proudest parent ever.  This was his very first chance to act as a volunteer, and Cottages of Hope made that a good experience for him. I am especially thankful that I got to be a part of it with him.

Preparing your personal tax return can be a troublesome task.  Being able to sit down with someone who really needs help and work with them to complete their return is gratifying.  My involvement in this community assistance program helps fulfill a portion of my mission to help others in their time of need.

I enjoyed working on tax returns years ago and now helping and learning again.    Especially for those that have difficulty understanding the forms and regulations.  They were so thankful for the assistance we could give by completing their tax returns.
