Striving to help individuals and families achieve greater levels of financial stability since 2007

Be The Change

The Sparkpoint Center at Cottages of Hope, in partnership with United Way of Northern Utah and Department of Workforce services, was established in 2015 as a new community collaboration and service delivery program that focuses on bundling resources and services through coordinated case management. This co-located service delivery concept is reliant on critical connections with dozens of community partners which provide coordinated services to avoid duplication and maximize efficiency and patron success.

We empower our patrons through four major goals through a combination of small group classes and individual coaching in the areas of employment, finance, and housing.

Obtaining and retaining a livable wage

Reducing and maintaining a debt-to-income ratio of under 40 percent

Achieving and maintaining a credit score of 650 points or more

Saving 3-6 months in emergency savings

The Values that Motivate Us

    Honesty & Integrity

    Determination

No power is greater than the power that comes from within. Obtaining a livable wage and financial stability requires hard work and determination.

    Individuality

No two individuals are exactly alike, and few follow the same path to success. Each must define their starting point and the work through obstacles on the way to personal financial stability.

Each individual should seek worthy opportunities, focus on achievement, and use community support productively while seeking positive change.
